Matthew 5:16 – In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
What to Expect
Welcome to Light of Christ Fellowship. We are so glad you're here, and we hope it feels like home. We love new people and families who expand our circle of disciples. Whether you're a first-time visitor or you have been with us a long time, know you are loved by God and valued by this community of faith.
At Light of Christ, we value meaningful worship. Our worship service blends old and contemporary music within creative and traditional worship forms, while remaining true to our Lutheran identity. Hymnals, Bibles and worship folders are available, and the words and lyrics for each service are projected on our video displays. Holy Communion is served weekly.
There is no formal dress code: if you enjoy dressing up for church, or if you'd rather be comfortably casual, you are always welcome at Light of Christ.
Christ said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of such is the Kingdom of God" Mark 10:13 Children are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the service with their parents. A special children’s message is included in each Sunday service. Light of Christ has a dedicated children’s education hour each Sunday.
Friendly
Jesus said that when we care for our neighbors, we are showing our love to God, and understanding these two things cannot be separated. In our worship, with our youth, and through our service throughout our neighborhoods, region, state, nation, and world, we rejoice together as we grow in faith.
Faithful
God's story is always becoming new, always growing and reverberating, as new people hear the story and pass it along to others. Experience how God's word reveals itself to us, changes our lives, and speaks to us personally. Everyone is welcome!
Fearless
The Holy Spirit is moving in our midst, making us fearless servants and bold disciples! Through our mission partnerships, joyful singing, inspiring worship, and empowering family ministry, we are bravely sharing the love of Christ with our communities!
